The Vietnam Wall Experience - Anderson, Indiana
April 25th, 26th, 27th 2003


A community-wide event to honor and memorialize those who fought and those who died for all of us.

Venue location: Behind Ivy Tech and the Robert D. Loose Funeral Home's South Chapel on West 53rd Street in Anderson, Indiana.

  4. Reading of over 58,000 names that are listed on the Vietnam Wall

  8. Several local and nationally recognized speakers and entertainment
  9. Vietnam Era Military Equipment Exhibits
  10. Quilt Of Tears - Agent Orange Exhibit
  11. High School and Middle School Essay Contests

    Military Vehicles were donated by the
    National Guard. These vehicles are Vietnam era.


    On Thursday over 2,000 students from area schools
    visited the memorial to pay tribute to those who
    paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom.


    American Flags along with all Armed Service flags
    fly high over the memorial to honor all who fought.


    Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day and staff
    is on-hand to help answer any questions.


    The stage will house all keynote speakers, musical
    ensembles, and other events planned for this
    weekend. Opening ceremonies start Friday
    and the conclusion will be Sunday evening.


    The Quilt of Tears Display honors those who were
    harmed by the chemical Agent Orange during Vietnam.
